The HTIDE e-Platform has been created by an idea of Professor Matteo Bassetti with the objective to provide new insights from infectious diseases and to discuss on the most controversial issues.
The HTIDE community, with more than 3000 members, is composed by Health Care Professionals from all over the word interested in getting access to educational resources and sharing their opinion with colleagues.

Professor Matteo Bassetti is Head of the Infectious Diseases Clinic of the Policlinico San Martino University Hospital in Genoa and Full Professor of Infectious Diseases of the University of Genoa, Italy.
Professor Bassetti studied at the University of Genoa School of Medicine and continued his medical education at the Yale University School of Medicine, New Haven, USA with an Infectious Diseases fellowship.
